After I finished editing my next piece of content for YouTube and attempted to export it, I saw that CapCut asked me to upgrade for some features I used. They even expected me to upgrade for the audios I imported and used for my edits, showing how extremely seriously they are trying to make people pay. In this post, I will list all the CapCut PC pro features I noticed after upgrading the app.
CapCut pro features
- Extract audio – This is ‘Import video.’ I don’t understand why they changed it to ‘Extract audio.’ It’s not as if we are extracting audio from a video. If you import audio into CapCut, it will be categorized under ‘Extract audio,’ and you won’t be able to export your video for free because ‘Extract audio’ is now a PRO feature. I wish they could explain to the public why we are being charged for our own audio.
- Audios in CapCut. (Not all)
- Text to speech
- Normalize loudness
- Reduce noise
- Isolate voice
- Enhance image
- Reduce image noise
- Relight
- Remove BG – Auto removal
- Transcript
- Motion tracking
- Captions
- No watermark.
There are more PRO features that I haven’t discovered yet, and you may encounter them while editing. I cannot recommend CapCut to anyone seeking a free video editing tool because 80% of its features are now limited to the PRO version. The watermark is a significant turn-off for me, and I strongly suggest using InShot or another tool for video editing. In InShot, you can remove the watermark by watching an ad, which is reasonable, it can be done when you have an internet connection while editing. Currently, I am installing another video editing tool on my PC, and I will discuss it in my next post.
